About Gold Avenue School

HISTORY

Gold Avenue School is a private educational institution located at Old Ashongman (North Legon), a suburb of Accra in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The school opened in 2007 for Preschool and Primary pupils. In September 2011, we expanded to Junior High School and further to Gold Avenue Secondary-Technical School in March 2021. In May 2012, we started a boarding facility on a pilot basis for boys; this was expanded to include girls in September 2012. Currently, we run only the Ghanaian curriculum drawn by the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) of the Ministry of Education. Presently, the Pre-school department is housed in an 18-unit single-storey classroom facility. Our new school complex is a fifteen (15) unit classroom block which is occupied by the Primary and Junior High School classes. Gold Avenue Secondary-Technical School is currently located temporarily on our Basic School premises in Accra. Gold Avenue School runs both in-person and online sessions for our learners at all the levels of pre-tertiary education.
