Bishop Dr. Peter Osei Akoto joined Gold Avenue School in November 2010 as the Director. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for nurturing young minds, he has made significant contributions to education throughout his noble trajectory.

Having attended Wesley College of Education, he obtained a bachelor's degree in mathematics education from the University of Education, Winneba. He also earned a degree in theology from Christian Leadership University and an honorary doctorate from Central Christian University, all in the United States of America.

Bishop Dr.  Akoto began his career as an educator, teaching at several renowned institutions, including Savino Primary School, Winneba Senior High School, Juaben Senior High School, St. Monica’s Senior High School, St. Martin de Porres School, and Highbury International, where he was Director as well. His dedication to academic growth and character development left a lasting impact on students and colleagues.

He is the founder of Mezzo House Limited, a group in charge of overseeing and promoting Mezzo Maths. Mezzo Maths is an innovative mathematical programme that simplifies and makes the learning of mathematics fun and appealing. In addition to his educational roles, he currently serves as the General Overseer of Integrity Worship Centre, having previously been a Senior Pastor of a branch of International Charismatic Church and Head Pastor of All Out for Christ Evangelistic Ministry. 

His vision for Gold Avenue School is to make it the best school in Ghana in terms of academic and wholesome education in the next few years.
